Construction Underway on Loop 322

I stumbled upon this exciting news when I noticed some large-scale construction happening along Loop 322. After spotting the site, I reached out to my friend Ben Barkley, a Communications Specialist at TSTC, to learn more. He confirmed that the new facility, a $30 million project, has been in the works since 2021, thanks to funding from the Capital Construction Assistance Projects under Senate Bill 52, passed during the 87th Texas Legislative Session.

What to Expect from the New Facility

The nearly 50,000-square-foot facility is scheduled for completion just before the fall of 2025, with classes set to begin that semester. TSTC will offer comprehensive programs in Diesel Equipment Technology, Electrical Line Workers, HVAC, and Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, all under one roof. Graduates will be fully licensed and equipped to jump into these rewarding careers.
