The Ride for Change Local Show to Benefit School Band Programs
The Ride for Change, this year, has a mission of raising funds for local school band programs. We're also accepting donations of used instruments for kids that want to participate in their school band.
You can drop off your band instrument donation at N-Tune Music & Sound, on Grape Street, or our studios at 3911 South 1st.
Monetary donations can be made on our GoFundMe page or by using CashApp with our username $therideforchange.
We're accepting both instruments and monetary donations through the end of June.
Our final big push, for The Ride for Change, will come on Friday June 25th at Homer's Bar and Music Venue. The Ride for Change local show is open to ages 18 and will feature Rear Naked Choke, Radio Recon, and Farewell to Fools.
Cover is only $10 with 100% of the door going to assist local school band programs, through The Ride for Change. So come on out and enjoy a full evening of some of the best live rock Abilene has to offer while also helping out local school band programs.
Personally, I'd like to thank everyone who has donated to The Ride for Change this year, including all three bands and Homer's.
While we had some bumps along the way, like getting run off the road on my bike, this year's support has been off the charts. So, help us close out this year's campaign with a bang on Friday, June 25th at Homer's at 4201 North 1st Street.
While you're at the show, buy the bands a drink or two as they're donating their time and talent to this cause.
