The Lacs have just released a video for their latest single, "Jack in My Coke," and they are taking Taste of Country readers behind the scenes of the video shoot with Montgomery Gentry.

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry joined Clay Sharpe and Brian King on the set in Nashville for the shoot. They also took part in recording the track, which Sharpe and King co-wrote with David Ray, Jon Conner and Caleb Sherman.

"We’ve been long time fans with Montgomery Gentry for as long as I can remember -- ever since they put out their first music in the late '90s. We’ve always wanted to work with them," Sharpe says. "This was the perfect song, we felt like. When we heard the chorus, we couldn’t hear anybody else doing it."

The video shoot for "Jack in My Coke" took place partly at a farm east of Nashville, and partly at a Music City bar called Santa's Pub. The latter is a truly unique location.

"If you’ve never been to Santa’s Pub, you should check that out," Sharpe says. "People don’t believe it’s a double-wide trailer in the middle of Nashville. It’s great!"

"Jack in My Coke" is the single from the Lacs'' fifth studio album, American Rebelution, which reached No. 4 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart after its release on April 7. The duo have racked up over 35 Million YouTube views, 175 cumulative weeks on Billboard’s country album chart, and sold more than a million digital tracks and over 350,000 albums. The Lacs expect to cross half a billion streams with the release of American Rebelution. More information on their music and very active touring schedule is available at their official website.

American Rebelution is currently available at iTunes.
