Abilene’s 2023 Winter Lightfest Santa Fun Run is a Fundraiser

If you're looking to maintain your fit with a jog, trying to bring about the Christmas holiday spirit, or just want to go out for brisk stroll with friends, sign up for the 2023 Santa Fun Run at United Way's Winter Lightfest in Abilene.

This year's Santa Fun Run is scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 7 p.m. The Fun Run is a fundraiser for the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation in partnership with the Abilene Running Company. The run also benefits United Way through its incredibly awesome Winter Lightfest.

Don your athletic shoes and get ready for the most spectacular light display in all of West Texas. There are over three million lights that will be lighting the path and helping to raise money for the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation, Abilene Running Company, and the United Way.

The Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation is an organization that promotes excellence in education for all grades. Everyone who signs up early will receive a special t-shirt designed by a Wylie student. If you have already signed up, pick up your tickets at the Abilene Running Company from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6 or Thursday, December 7. You can also pick them up at the race at least 20 minutes before the Fun Run begins. Cost is $25 per participant.
