
Texas Tech’s Reaction to the TSA Frisking a Student Over ‘Guns Up’ Sign Is Perfect
A Texas Tech student who got her guns up at an airport was singled out and frisked by a TSA agent. And the Lubbock university offered a mock apology to the group.

BuzzFeed reported Wednesday that Diana Durkin, a 19-year-old sophomore at the Lubbock university, was pulled out of line at a Houston airport by a TSA agent, questioned and patted down -- all because she had the audacity to flash Texas Tech's famous 'guns up' hand gesture to a person she saw wearing a school sweatshirt.
Durkin said she feared being jailed over the incident. She wasn't, and the TSA simply issued her a warning.
