Before we dive in, let's make one thing clear: never attempt to approach or detain any of Texas' most wanted criminals. These individuals are armed and extremely dangerous, as listed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Stoppers, and the Texas Governor's 10 Most Wanted Lists. If you see something, say something—always call 911.

Recently, Governor Greg Abbott launched Texas's 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrant List. This initiative, developed with help from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers, and local law enforcement, aims to locate and arrest repeat offenders who have entered our state and country illegally. These individuals are wanted for committing dangerous crimes in Texas.

During the press conference, Governor Abbott stated, "When President Joe Biden took office, he deactivated many border policies that had been in place for some time. As a result, we have seen record-high levels of illegal crossings, including very dangerous criminals and terrorists who are a threat to public safety in the Lone Star State."

Dangerous Criminals at Our Doorstep

These criminals, originally from other countries, have crossed the border into Texas and continued their criminal activities. As Crime Stoppers always reminds us, "If you know something, say something, but you must remain anonymous at all times."

The "10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegals List" is funded by the Governor's Public Safety Office and the Texas Crime Stoppers Association, offering cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of these dangerous individuals. Governor Abbott emphasized, "I am enlisting the public’s help in apprehending these offenders before they commit additional crimes in Texas." Like other "Texas 10 Most Wanted" lists, fugitives on this list are extremely dangerous and should not be approached. Instead, call 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).

How You Can Help and Stay Safe

To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters must provide information using one of the following methods:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about and clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

Your help is Crucial, remember all tips will remain anonymous, and do not attempt to approach or apprehend these fugitives—they are considered armed and dangerous!
