A new exhibit will be opening at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville in March 2015, but the focus will be on an era when country made room for rock and folk music in Music City.

Country singer/songwriter John Anderson will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame October 5th. John Anderson biggest song came early in his career in 1983, the song was "Swingin'" and it got him the Horizon Award and Song of the Year.

The first thing that came to mind when I found out that Kenny Rogers was going to be a 2013 inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame was, "He's not already in?". Like a lot of people, I thought this order of business was taken care of years ago.
