Surprise it's a girl! Abilene's Zoo is so excited about a baby giraffe that was born this past weekend.

Koodo's to The Abilene Zoo for coming to the rescue of a baby chick owl that didn't even have its eyes open. The Zoo saved this baby Great Horned Owl from being killed by someone's house cat.

This is an awesome video that shows several chameleons starting to hatch out. While the video only shows one chameleon completely hatched out and getting its bearings. I found it interesting to watch all of them starting to make their way out of their shells. Check it out.

Baby animals are a weakness for me. I love anything "miniture" whether it's a new born baby or an animal. There is something about baby animals that just makes your heart melt. This newborn deer takes it's first steps of life with mamma close by.
