I just received the new T.G. Sheppard song, and since it's been many years since I've heard anything new from the Sheppard camp, I hurried to my office to hear it. First off it's a Christmas song, it's not bad but it's not what I was expecting from the once very hip country crooner. While I'm on the subject of 'crooners' T.G. tried his hand at that too, and in my opinion some things are best left alone. I think it's worse than a Colt Ford country-RAP Christmas song.

I like the Christmas song alright and his Christian album is pretty good, however the tribute to Sinatra album that T.G. has released, needs to (in this broadcaster opinion) go away forever and don't try that again. As I watched the video (I've included below), I began to feel weak at my stomach and could only think of a group of country singers like: Alan Jackson, George Strait and Merle Haggard recording a Boy George tribute album. But don't take my word for it, be a judge for yourself check out the song 'December to Remember' versus the Sinatra tribute video.
