I told you last week that I visited the Texas A&M for the first time in 17 years. I was with my boyfriend and his 13 year old son, neither of whom had ever been to College Station. It was fun to show them around; once I found my bearings. One particular place I wanted to show off was the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

I wasn't sure if this would be something a 13 year would be interested in or not but to my surprise, he actually wanted to do the tour. It's actually a really neat place and we had fun taking pictures of each other in the interactive parts of the library.

The beginning of the tour starts with Bush's life as a boy and progresses through his time in the military, getting married, serving in the CIA, as Vice-President and then as President. There is personal as well as political memorabilia.

You can see family photos, the Presidential limo, the first car Bush bought, a mock up of the White House entrance, the Presidential podium, the Oval Office and his Kennebunkport office, an actual piece of the Berlin Wall, a Desert Storm room, the 'situation room' and more.

As I mentioned we took some fun pictures while taking the tour and I encourage you, if you are in the area, to stop by the library and check it out. Jace asked me, before we went in, if it was just for students or could anybody go in? The answer is anyone is welcome. It's an inexpensive tour and well worth the time.

Here are a few photos we took while visiting the library!
