While people around the world are getting ready for Christmas in just a few weeks, Phil Vassar is doing his part to make things festive by releasing a tune from his holiday album, ‘Noel.’

‘Santa’s Gone Hollywood’ is one of the original tunes on ‘Noel,’ which the hit songwriter had a part in writing. The song is a jazz-infused tune that will sure be a fan favorite this holiday season.

‘Noel’ was released in 2011 and is the perfect combination of original tunes from the country hitmaker blended with five classic standards, including ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ ‘Away in a Manger,’ and ‘Oh Come All Ye Faithful.’

“I’ve always dreamed of making a Christmas record,” says Vassar. “From the time I was a boy — listening to Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby and all the classic singers — I’ve wanted to do this. I love the way Christmas makes you feel … how it makes you slow down and re-evaluate your life. It makes you think about years past and look ahead toward things to come, but for me, it’s the music that makes it all come alive.”

‘Noel’ is available for purchase through all digital retailers, as well as through Vassar’s official website or at his live concerts. Through his website, Vassar has holiday packages available that include the album and his greatest hits collection for a limited time only.
