In 2006, '80s rock band Bon Jovi scored a multi-week No. 1 country hit with "Who Says You Can't Go Home," featuring Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. The two-week No. 1 single was co-written by the band's Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, both of whom would see more country chart success one year later.

While "Who Says You Can't Go Home" was Bon Jovi's most successful song on the country charts, two more of their singles appeared on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, both in 2007. One peaked just inside the Top 50, while another made it to the Top 40; the former, in fact, featured another country artist.
