The oldest recorded person died yesterday and she was a woman from East Texas.  Eunice G. Sanborn from Jacksonville outlived 3 husbands and her daughter who died at the age of 90.

The Gerontology Research Group in Los Angeles listed her as the world’s oldest person, citing data from the 1900 census. The title passes to 114-year-old Besse Cooper of Monroe, Ga., who is 114 years and five months old.

I'm not sure I want to live to be that age.  She outlived all her husbands and even her own daughter by 14 years.  That's amazing but a little depressing too.  What is cool though is what all this woman saw in that 114 years.  The wars, technology, cars, planes, space exploration and so much more.  That had to be incredible.

So would you want to live to be 114?
