When I made the switch from rock and roll radio to country radio, Gene Watson was one of the artists who helped me fall in love with traditional country music all over again. Over the years, I've even had the honor of introducing Gene at a couple of his concerts, and I can tell you he's just as genuine off the stage as he is on it.

His career has been filled with timeless hits, beginning with "Love in a Hot Afternoon" in 1975. Fans also know him for classics like "Farewell Party" and his No. 1 smash "Fourteen Carat Mind." After more than 60 years in country music, Gene is still recording, still touring, and still delivering one of the best traditional country shows you'll ever see.
