This is new technology at it's finest.  The T-Shirt prototype will be tried out this weekend at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England.  The idea here is to use sound waves to charge the cell phones.  Read on for more details.This t-shirt has been designed to use noise responsive technology to charge cell phones.

This weekends concert goers will be able to plug their phones into the t-shirts and recharge them based on the music being played.  Confused?  Here's the theory.

"Sound vibrations, particularly bass frequencies, will create enough shaking to produce electricity from a material as simple as piezoelectric film," he said.

Is it me or do we sometimes think way too far outside of the box?  The technology is cool but the shirts aren't that fashionable!!
