Ignite Your Excitement for ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ With a Slew of New Images

He’s back, and he’s brought some friends along with him. Or, more likely, enemies, because he’s John Wick. Feast your eyes on a bunch of new images from the upcoming John Wick Chapter 2, featuring new characters played by the likes of Ruby Rose, Ian McShane, Common, and more. Even the stills look fantastic; there’s a reason this movie made our Most Anticipated Movies of 2017 list.

The Playlist has gifted us with this treasure trove of stills that introduce all the new goodies and baddies John Wick will meet in the sequel. What I love most about the original movie and the look of the new one is all of the colors you can see. We’ve gotten so used to action movies being doused in shades of gray (maybe fifty or so) that the John Wicks are like a technicolor breath of fresh air. The first one even set a shootout in the middle of a dance club lit by neon lights. I cant wait to see how the second tops that.

We also finally have an official plot synopsis, which goes something like this:

In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick [Keanu Reeves] is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

John Wick Chapter 2 hits theaters February 10.
