Mumford & Sons, "If I Say":

Mumford & Sons are treating fans to another new track off of their upcoming album, Delta. In typical fashion, "If I Say" has a slow build that comes to a dramatic head about halfway through. Band member Ben Lovett tells Beats 1’s Zane Lowe he “was actually asleep in an apartment in New York, and I dreamt the song. And then I went into my bathroom and recorded it on my voicemail at 3AM. And I sent it to everyone the next morning, and they were like, ‘Yeah, okay. That’s a song'” (quote via Consequence of Sound). Delta is the band's fourth studio album, and is set for release on Nov. 16. -- CC

Big & Rich, "Brand New Buzz":

Big & Rich’s “Brand New Buzz” is a song about a love so intoxicating it’s a like a shot of alcohol -- and they can’t get enough. "I got a brand-new buzz / It hits a lot harder than the whiskey does / One shot of you, and you're in my blood / Oh, and I can't get enough,” they sing. “Wish I could bottle it up, 'cause now I'm hooked on love / Oh, I got a brand new buzz." “Brand New Buzz” is off of Big & Rich’s 2014 album, Gravity. -- CC

Rob Baird, "I Tried":

"I Tried," off of Rob Baird's forthcoming album, After All, is inspired by a fledgeling long-distance relationship that didn't ultimately work out. The song is part of a step-by-step examination of the mourning period that follows the loss of a relationship that doesn't lose its meaning just because it didn't last forever. "This song is all about a road trip we took to Marfa, Tex.," Baird says of the track. "That's definitely where the 55 going down I-10 reference comes from. At its core, the song is really about putting yourself out there knowing it probably isn't going to work out." After All is due out on Jan 11, 2019. -- CL

Rachel Reinert, "Dark Star":

After years of hard work, Rachel Reinert is ready to share her debut solo radio single, “Dark Star.” The song is an intimate look into the singer’s life after she made the tough call to leave her band, Gloriana. Throughout the song, Reinert tells the story of the struggles she’s faced since setting out on her own and trying to make a name for herself as a solo artist. “My songs come from a very personal place,” Reinert says in a press release. “It’s important to me that everything that I write and sing is real.” “Dark Star” was written by Reinert along with Joe Pisapia and KS Rhoads. -- CC

Nick Wayne, "If You Ever Wanna":

“If You Ever Wanna” is one of two new songs released by Nick Wayne in recent days. The uptempo tune makes it clear that Wayne is ready for a relationship with someone he’s had his eyes on … if she ever wants to take the leap. In the catchy chorus, Wayne lays it all out on the line: “If you ever wanna do a little some of what I wanna / We can wake the sun up after staying out all night/ If you ever wanna drink Kentucky-ana bourbon / Feel the fire burning, say the word / You can call me anytime / If you ever wanna lose your heart out underneath some stars / If you ever wanna / If you're ever gonna love someone / I wanna be the one, if you ever wanna.” “If You Ever Wanna” was written by Wayne with Justin Ebach. The other song that Wayne recently shared, “How Do I Get Close,” was penned by Wayne with Josh Kerr and Hannah Ellis. -- CC
