Awesome Guy in Coonskin Cap Gives Hilarious Eyewitness Account of High-Speed Pursuit [VIDEO]

In Florida last month, 27-year-old Matthew Whitney Dykes allegedly tried to rob a credit union and lost control of his vehicle while fleeing from police. Fortunately for us, Davy Crockett, er, coonskin cap-wearing eyewitness/generally awesome dude Carter Johnson saw the whole thing and told his story to news cameras.

But it’s not just Johnson’s questionable choice of hat that makes the interview hysterical. It’s also the slick references to both ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ and racecar driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. that he manages to make in the same breath. Yee-hah!
