Alabama are headed back to their home state in 2018 for a performance at Jacksonville State University in September. The concert, which will also feature performances from the Charlie Daniels Band, Shenandoah, Jamey Johnson and Riley Green, is a fundraiser for the school, which was devastated by a massive tornado earlier this year. "As a proud alumni, Jacksonville State University is not only in our home state, but also very near and dear to my heart," lead singer Randy Owen says in a statement. "A tremendous amount of damage has been done to the campus that must be rebuilt, and we are ready to do our part to help reconcile the devastation." Tickets for the show, scheduled for Sept. 26, are on sale now.

On May 22, Trace Adkins, Lee Greenwood and more country artists will take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry to honor the contributions of active duty military members, veterans and their families. The annual Salute the Troops show will also feature performances from Craig Morgan, Darius Rucker and Kellie Pickler, among other artists. Before the show begins, members of the military will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet into the venue. "We owe so much to our veterans and to the families of our veterans," says Morgan, a U.S. Army veteran, in a statement. "We are all truly grateful for the sacrifices they make for our nation. My fellow artists and I are very excited to head to the Opry that night, shake as many family members’ hands as we can, say thank you, and offer some of our songs in salute.” Tickets for the Salute the Troops show are on sale now.
