Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for children’s hospitals. Hendrick Children's Hospital is the CMN beneficiary here in Abilene. KEAN 105 along with our sister station Rock 108, will be hosting this year’s CMN Celebration (radiothon) to help raise money for our local children.

Here is another special artist to me but where do I start? Kenny Chesney has been one of my favorites since before he even got popular and known world wide. I had a major crush on him for years; until I realized it would never work between us. He became way too big of a star and well I'm still here doing the same thing I was doing 19 years ago.

Larry Joe Taylor's (LJT) Annual Texas Music Festival at Melody Mountain Ranch in Stephenville, is set for April 21st through April 26th. LJT's Ranch has become the hot spot for the biggest names in Texas Music, and here's a look at the early line up for this year.

The annual Top Gun Clay Shoot benefiting the West Texas Rehab Center is April 4th and 5th at the Abilene Clay Sports south range. It is a two-day event and it will feature two courses. This shoot is the most popular clay shoot in West Texas, with more shotguns and prizes given away. A $50.00 discount is offered if registered prior to the shoot.

Kevin Fowler was just in Abilene on Valentines day, and I asked him where he's playing this year. Kevin named off several venues, but one that stuck out, it's the one where Kevin gets into the most trouble.
