The tenth annual Legends Dove Hunt presented by Automated Copy Systems, Inc. is coming up September 12th & 13th. This is a fun event to benefit Hendrick Children's Hospital/Children's Miracle Network. Not only can you hunt dove on some incredible ranches, you get a great meal, goody bag and concert to boot!

Dove season opens September 1st and if you are like me you can't wait. What if you could hunt dove and give to a great organization at the same time? That's what the Legends Dove Hunt is all about; helping our local kids with medical expenses.

The 2 day event begins Friday with check- in and an afternoon dove hunt. Saturday includes a morning dove hunt, a chuck wagon lunch with brisket and fixin's and a sporting clay shoot. That evening is a steak dinner catered by Joe Allen's, a live auction and a concert featuring Sunny Leigh Shipley and Jordan Shipley.

Of course there is dove hunting is on some of the top ranches here in the Big Country, like the Vinson and Lambshead  Ranches. These are exclusive properties not generally open to the public. However, for this special occasion the landowners allow hunters this rare opportunity in order to raise money for Hendrick Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network.
