Texas Red Dirt Artist Lane Bricker Will Be In Stamford July 18th

Texas singer-songwriter Lane Bricker is headed to The Penick Hughes in Stamford on Saturday, July 18, bringing the kind of country sound that leans on classic influences while still feeling right at home on today's Texas music scene.

A Texas Red Dirt Artist On The Rise

Lane Bricker grew up in Texarkana in a family where music was always close by. His father was an accomplished piano player and music producer, but Lane didn't begin performing himself until college after a friend encouraged him to play at a campus event. That one performance sparked a passion that's taken him across Texas and beyond.

Since then, Bricker has shared stages and opened shows for artists including Clay Walker, Pat Green, Braxton Keith, John Conlee, Chris Cagle, Junior Brown, and Gary P. Nunn. His music blends traditional country with the unmistakable Texas sound, drawing inspiration from legends like Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, George Strait, and Charlie Robison while creating a style that's very much his own.

Why I Enjoy The Penick Hughes

I've been to concerts at The Penick Hughes, and if you've never made the drive to Stamford, you're missing one of my favorite small-town music venues in Texas. We even gave away tickets to the Colton Rice show there back in May. There's just something special about walking into a historic venue, finding a seat with friends, and spending an evening listening to live Texas country music without the big-city crowds.
