Kenny Rogers Ready to Celebrate the Season with 31st Annual ‘Christmas and Hits’ Tour [VIDEO]

Kenny Rogers has a long, long list of country hits and then you add in the Christmas season favorites and you have a smash tour that's been rolling through the U.S. for the last 31 years.  Every year from November 23rd-December 23rd Kenny hits the road celebrating the season and bringing some of his well known tunes to audiences from New Mexico to New York.

The 2012 Christmas and Hits Tour list is out and there is only one Texas date on it so if you're planning on going you better get your tickets now. The Texas show will be at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on December 10th.

You will hear about 30 minutes of country favorites like The Gambler, Islands in the Stream, Lucille, Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town, Coward of the Country and many more.  Christmas tunes follow after an intermission and will include Silent Night, White Christmas, Joy to the World and many other traditional favorites. Billy Dean will also be joining the tour this year.  It will be a night of sing-a-longs I'm sure.

What makes this tour extra special is that in every city he stops a local choir has been chosen to perform with him during his set.
