Jerrin’s Hope is a brand-new, faith-driven nonprofit organization born out of pain, love, and a mission to fight the fentanyl crisis head-on. Based in Abilene, Texas, the group is launching a powerful effort to save the lives of young people battling addiction, and support their families, too.

Inspired by Jerrin’s Life and Legacy

The organization was named after Jerrin Lee Hernandez, the founder’s oldest son, who tragically died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. Jerrin was more than a big brother, he was a protector, a prankster, and a child of God with a giant heart. He lived life loudly, gave generously, and loved deeply.

Though his life ended too soon, his spirit lives on through this mission to help other young people avoid the same fate. Jerrin’s Hope is more than an organization; it’s a movement built on his memory, and a promise to protect others from the deadly grip of fentanyl.

What Is Jerrin’s Hope?

Jerrin’s Hope was founded to prevent fentanyl and drug abuse in youth by combining education, rehabilitation, and God’s love. This organization doesn’t just treat the addiction, it treats the soul.

Their long-term goal? To build a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) right here in Abilene.

But this isn’t just another rehab. It’s a Christ-centered, full-service facility where young people will receive medical and dental care, legal support, counseling, and mentorship from people who’ve walked the road to recovery themselves. Jerrin’s Hope believes the journey begins with parent education, continues with residential treatment, and ends with a solid exit plan rooted in faith and support.

• Friday 7am-4pm / Saturday 7am-5pm

Expect TONS of items for sale: furniture, clothing, home goods, books, décor, and more. Every dollar raised will go directly toward building the residential treatment center and offering hope to Abilene youth and their families.
