Are you ready for a good, spooky time?

I’ve been holding back on writing this, but after spotting the beginnings of a Halloween display at United Market Street, I figured: Why shouldn’t Lubbock’s Halloween headquarters start joining in on the fun?

Nightmare on 19th Street is celebrating its 20th season. Wow—what a whirlwind!
We started in front of the Lone Star Amphitheater, with most of the attraction inside the Pavilion. We moved to the back for our third year, and we’ve been building, expanding and going crazy back there ever since.

Welcome to the Year of the Creeps

This year’s theme is the “Year of the Creeps,” and we’re introducing a couple of soon-to-be-iconic characters—and one big, ugly spider.
Guests will be greeted by Betty, a giant, animatronic, 10-foot spider. I should probably mention that she’s hungry, too!

Inside Blood Moon Manor, things have shifted around a bit. A secret medical room will debut featuring Dr. Mortis, and let’s hope he doesn’t get any stray body fluids on you.

Mr. Skinner also has his tailor shop open, featuring the finest in human-skin activewear. Farther down the line, you’ll spot some new ghosts haunting the New Orleans Cemetery.
We’ve also made updates throughout KarnEvil, Castle Dominus and Roger Ratty’s Pizza Playhouse 3D.

This is one of those years when we’ve worked hard to make the attractions more “dense.” That means more characters, more details, and more creepy things packed into every corner.
The best part is that while you’re distracted by all the cool new stuff, we get even more chances to sneak up on you.

We are working very hard to Keep Lubbock Spooky, and we hope you’ll come out and enjoy the park this year.

We also know things are tough out there, so we’re holding our prices firm. Thursdays and Sundays are still the same $20 they’ve always been, while prices on Fridays and most Saturdays have remained unchanged for at least 10 years.
