Having parents that are proud of you is nothing to be ashamed of and you should not shy away from that attention. One member of the Temple High School Cheer team in Temple, Texas is learning that lesson currently as her dad Andre Simmons has gone viral on TikTok bringing in over 300,000k views.

The story just keeps growing since KHOU has shared the details about this proud father who has no shame as he is dancing along to the cheer team’s routine. The initial TikTok was published on September 30th, 2023 and the video continues to pick up more views every day. Andre Simmons admits that the routine that he does in the video below took him three to four days to learn but as you will see he knows the routine by heart now. He will probably remember those steps for the rest of his life.

This Video Is the Content You Need

Seeing this video reminds me of how fortunate I was as my parents tried hard to be at all of my sporting events growing up. Being a parent isn’t easy even if Andre Simmons makes it look easy. He actually has 5 kids and is in the military, so he doesn’t get to attend all of his kid's events, but he always tries hard to be there.

@ceces406 Everyone always asks Andrè Simmons about the boys continuing his football legacy little do they know he’s waited his whole life to be a cheer dad 😁#fyp #cheerdad #family #love #viral #daughter ♬ original sound - Cece S

We All Need to Be More Like Andre Simmons

Being there for our family, showing them support and love is what we all should do but it’s what Andre Simmons shows in this video. I’m so excited to help spread the word about things like this, it’s the positive stuff that we all need more of in our lives.
