The Best Way For Texans To Get Christmas Shopping Done With No Hassle
Christmas shopping is definitely one of the more stressful things in life, mainly because of all the traffic and people you have to encounter while doing it. But, over the years, I have found a way to get all of that shopping done here in Texas with no hassles and completely stress-free.
I am a procrastinator at heart which means I used to always do my Christmas shopping at the last possible minute. This makes for bad gift decisions and an overall experience that stresses me out to the max. Plus, you have to deal with some people who seem to think Christmas shopping is the perfect time to kick some butt.
So, what is this foolproof plan for getting your Christmas shopping done and not pulling all of your hair out?
Take PTO during the week while everybody else is working. I know. All of this anticipation for such a simple solution. But, hey it works. I don't have to stand in line all day or fight with someone looking for the same gift as I am only to see one item left.

Most people don't start taking the holidays off until a few weeks before Christmas. So, you'll want to take that time off sooner rather than later to avoid the other last-minute folks. But take the day off. Heck, take two days off if you have to. I promise that you'll be glad you did.
Just don't forget to go shopping.
You're welcome.
