Is ‘Harold & Kumar – The Animated Series’ Coming Soon?
For fans who can’t get enough of ‘Harold & Kumar,’ you may have a way of seeing them every week on TV, in cartoon form.
Deadline reports that Lionsgate is shopping around an animated version of the hit movies. The most recent entry, ‘A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas,’ came in third place in the box office race this weekend with an estimated $13.1 million.
Comedy Central and MTV have shown the most interest in the series idea, which makes sense, considering all the drug use and sex filling the two live-action movies. If the animated series does happen, John Cho and Kal Penn will voice the characters and the original writers of the movies, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, will write and produce the show.
