The 2023 Fall Accurate Air Solutions 40th Annual Cruise Night is brought to you in part by Pam's Pets & Fish, Midas Auto & TireTurn Key Storage, NAPA Auto Parts, and Sonic Drive-In. Townsquare Media radio stations will be broadcasting live from the Keepers Car Show in Clyde and the cruise on North 1st in Abilene.

Growing up in West Texas was awesome. Every Friday and Saturday night was like a right of passage. After cruising around Mack Eplen's, I'd park in the Kmart parking lot and watch all the cars and trucks drive up and down the streets of Abilene.

Nowadays when I'm driving to the grocery store, to and from work, or going out to eat, every once in a while I'll see one of those classic vehicles. Boy, those sharp rides bring back a ton of memories.

During my teenage years I had a couple of muscle cars I was always working on and pouring money into. Yes, I'll admit it here - I was a Chevy guy. I had a love for the Camaro and the Corvette, and I owned them both. There are days when I kick myself for selling them.

As it is, every chance I have to snap a pic of one of these sweet rides cruising up and down the streets of my hometown, I do. Then I sit there and try to remember which high school friend of mine drove one of these. I hope they bring back some great memories for you too.

And I hope to see you at Cruise Night on October 14. Keepers Car Club show proceeds will support Clyde ISD's BackPack Program, providing meals for kids in need.
