Texas Gets Ready For A Red White And Blue Bell Celebration
One of Texas' favorite ice cream makers is getting ready to reveal something new, and just in time for a historic summer celebration.
I recently received a message from Faron Bell with Blue Bell Creameries, who shared some exciting news.
"I would love to come on your radio show and talk about a new patriotic flavor that we will be unveiling on June 4th," Bell told me.
That's about all Blue Bell is saying for now.
The company is keeping the details under wraps, but we do know the new flavor will have a patriotic theme and will be unveiled as America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday.

Blue Bell Keeps The Secret
If you're hoping for a sneak peek, you're not alone.
Blue Bell isn't releasing the flavor name, ingredients, artwork, or photos just yet. The company is keeping the surprise intact until the official reveal on June 4.
As a longtime Blue Bell fan, I'll admit the mystery has me curious. Texans love a good surprise, especially when it involves ice cream.
A New Flavor Is Already Hitting Freezers
While we wait for the patriotic announcement, Blue Bell has introduced a new limited-time flavor called Black Raspberry Fudge.
The flavor combines black raspberry ice cream with dark chocolate chunks and a rich chocolate fudge swirl. According to Blue Bell, it's the first raspberry flavor to join the lineup in several years.
The company also recently released Brookie À La Mode, a brown sugar ice cream loaded with brownie chunks and soft chocolate chip cookie pieces.
The Big Reveal Happens June 4
For now, all we know is that something patriotic is coming from Blue Bell, and Texans will be among the first to hear about it.
I'll be visiting with Faron Bell on June 4 when Blue Bell officially unveils the new flavor. Until then, the guessing game continues.
One thing is certain: Blue Bell knows how to build anticipation, and Texas ice cream lovers are ready to see what they're serving up next.
