Abilene Reporter News Announces Readers Choice Awards

The latest Abilene Reporter News 2011 "Readers Choice" awards were announced at the Abilene Country Club in a private packed house ceremony. All the attendees were either there to receive the Abilene Reporter News Readers Choice award, or runner-up award. This year there were more ties for either the top honor or runner-up award than ever before. Another thing that I noticed is that a lot of the favorites from last year switched spots with last years runners up being picked as the winners this year.

All in all it was a fun event and it started off with "Ask Doug" Williamson being ship wrecked on some island in the Caribbean and then he tele-ported himself to the Country Club and as soon as he showed up on screen in from of the country club, every head in the room turned around to watch his grand entry. I can't wait till next year.
