This year’s show is sponsored in part by First Financial Bank and Blake Fullenwider Automotive in Clyde.

A West Texas Christmas Tradition

Aaron Watson isn’t just another touring artist, he’s a homegrown West Texan, a Billboard chart-topper, a Grammy and CMA nominee, and one of the most respected voices in Texas country and Red Dirt music.

In 2018, Aaron released An Aaron Watson Family Christmas, an album packed with classics like “Blue Christmas,” “A Winter Wonderland,” and emotional originals. Ever since then, Abilene has become a yearly stop on his Christmas tour, and local families have added the show to their own holiday traditions.

A Setlist Full of Christmas Classics and Country Hits

Fans can expect Christmas favorites such as:

  • Blue Christmas
  • Suspicious Minds
  • Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
  • Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
  • Jingle Bells
  • A Winter Wonderland

Plus, Aaron will perform his Texas country radio hits, including some newer songs. (Aaron, if you’re reading this, I still want to know if your mom approved “Hit the Hay Running?”)

Personal Note: The Secret to Aaron’s Success

When I first met Aaron back in 1998 or 1999, he told me something I’ll never forget. He shared that the real secret to his success wasn't Nashville, record labels, or radio charts.
It was his mom.

When Aaron wrote a new song, she was the first person to hear it, and she gave honest feedback. I admire that. Aaron Watson writes wholesome songs with heart, songs you can play for your whole family. Always has, always will.

And yes, Aaron, the studio door is always open for you. Any time.

Tickets Always Sell Out Early, So Don’t Wait!

Tickets for both December 19 and 20 are available now, but if history repeats, they won’t last long.

Aaron Watson represents the best of Texas country and the Red Dirt format, and you can quote me on that.
