Tori Martin is just getting started. As she hits the road to promote her first radio single and works on her first EP, the Azle, Texas-based country singer has a lot of expectations for her music career. Tori paid us a visit on the KEAN 105 Afternoon Show to introduce herself to Abilene.

During our conversation, Martin acknowledged that being on a radio tour to promote 'Done Deal' is a lot different from traveling with her band. On the subject of the new single, "I wrote it for anyone that's ever been in a relationship, and you just couldn't wait for it to be done. Things fell apart as fast as they came together. And you're just like 'Pshh. I'm done'. It's an anthem. I love it."

I asked Tori about her expectations for the debut single, and she told us very honestly, "I don't know. I really want it to go far up the charts and make it up there, and break in. But I don't know what's gonna happen. But, hey, it's sitting at #75 [on the Texas Regional Radio Report] right now, and it's only been out for like, 3 weeks, maybe. So, that's kind of exciting. It's like 'Oh crap! I can't believe that happened! but it's so cool!' So, you know, I just want it to have good life, and people find out more [about me] and get new fans and just keep growing.".
