Brandon Jackson is best known as a Texas Music Artist and songwriter but he's been acting in film, television, and theater for years when he's not on the road that is. He is a former member of the band No Justice who stepped out on his own with a solo album "The Good Times" released last year. He's recently landed a role in an Indie film directed by Famke Janssen, known for her roles in the "X-Men", "Golden Eye" and "Taken". Brandon plays the role of an insurance agent in "Bringing Up Bobby".

The movie is about Olive (Milla Jovovich) who is a con-artist with a 10 year old son. The two spend much of their time scamming the rich and gullible and are then on the run from the law. Olive wants a new start and moves them to Oklahoma, her past however, catches up to her and she has to make a decision to leave her son so he has better opportunities or continue to be with him and risk his criminal future.

Bobby is skateboarding when he's hit by a car which lands him in the hospital and an insurance investigation ensues. That's where Brandon's character comes into play, he is the insurance investigator sent to sort out the details.

The film "Bringing Up Bobby" was filmed in Oklahoma and stars Milla Jovovich, Rory Cochrane (CSI:Miami), Bill Pullman, Marcia Cross and Spencer List. It's already won awards too. In June it was shown at the Dead Center Film Festival in Oklahoma City and won Best Picture. It also debuted in France at Cannes Film Festival.

At 1:04 of the following video you will see Brandon make his appearance and of course, thorough out the movie as well. The movie is set for release October 12th.
