A new 'Thor 2' clip has hit the airwaves, this time featuring the arrival of the villain from 'The Dark World,' Christopher Eccleston's Malekith the Accursed. As the leader of the Dark Elves, he awoke from his slumber and is ready to lay waste to the cosmos.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) have had a tumultuous relationship. After attempting to destroy his brother and claim the throne of Asgard in 'Thor,' the trickster god unleashed an alien army on New York City in 'The Avengers' and was taken back home in chains for it. But in 'Thor 2,' our title hero will have to put all this aside to defeat a dark new threat.

Who could forget Sif and the Warriors Three from 'Thor'? Not Marvel, which is why this quartet will be back for 'Thor 2,' and you can get a closer look at two of these Asgardians, Volstagg and Fandral, in the new posters for the sequel.

Failure is not an option for Thor and his brother Loki in the latest international TV spot for 'Thor 2.' As the army of Dark Elves descends upon Asgard and London, these two must team up and prevent the universe from falling into chaos, but not before the god of thunder dishes out some hammer of justice.

Apparently the best things come in pairs. The 'Thor 2' posters have been releasing in sets of two -- Loki and Odin, Jane and Sif, and now the Asgardian protector Heimdall and the Malekith-led army of Dark Elves get their share of the action.

Tuesday night marked the highly anticipated premiere of the Marvel TV series 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' (read our review HERE), and for those not watching at home, you missed a look at the brand-new 'Thor 2' trailer. Fortunately, you can see it and its bits of new footage right here.

Though Joss Whedon is busy working on the script for 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' and has admittedly been conceptualizing his sequel for some time, he still answered the call when 'Thor: The Dark World' director Alan Taylor was in trouble. According to Taylor, Whedon came in to save some major issues he was having with the film.

Obviously, the superhero movie news of the month has to do with the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman. However, not to be outdone, 'Thor: The Dark World' released a large batch of new stills, which give us a much better look at the much-anticipated sequel.

We've been raving about it for some time, but now the 'Thor 2' trailer that debuted during Comic-Con 2013 has finally arrived online.

He's mean, gold and green, and he rocks the metal horns better than a crowd of Sabbath fans. You know and love him as Loki, from 'The Avengers.'

This latest news might come as a bit of a disappointment for all you Loki-lovers out there -- it seems Thor's antagonistic and mischievous brother won't be returning for 'The Avengers 2.'

We don't really know what "Prancercise" is, and even after watching this hilarious video of a Thor cosplayer doing it, we're still not sure. But watching the God of Thunder do silly exercises in public is still pretty awesome.
