‘The Expendables 3′ Releases Official Synopsis, Confirms Full Cast

'The Expendables 3' began filming in Bulgaria today, and Lionsgate marked the occasion by sending out a press release that not only confirms most of the crazy ensemble cast but teases a plot that sounds just nutty enough to earn back our attention after the mediocre second film. If you aren't on board the 'Expendables' bandwagon (and we totally wouldn't blame you if you're not), just know that Mel Gibson is playing a character named Conrad Stonebanks. Conrad Stonebanks.

‘Expendables 3′ Swaps in Harrison Ford for Bruce Willis

Even at 71, Harrison Ford is still game to play action heroes -- earlier today we learned that Ford is game for another 'Indiana Jones' film, and while that might not happen, there's another action franchise that's willing to take him in. It seems Ford has joined the cast of 'The Expendables 3,' if Sylvester Stallone is to be believed.

Michael B. Jordan to Star in ‘Rocky’ Spinoff ‘Creed’

The 'Rocky' franchise had its fair share of ups and downs over the course of six great-to-awful films, but 2006's 'Rocky Balboa' seemed to definitively close the door on the story of Sylvester Stallone's good-natured boxer. However, it turns out that the saga isn't over quite yet!

A spinoff titled 'Creed' is in the works and it will follow the grandson of Apollo Creed, the champion boxer and chief rival/best friend of Rocky Balboa.

‘The Expendables 3′ Recruits Pro Boxer Victor Ortiz and UFC Champ Ronda Rousey

Sly Stallone continues to build upon his already-impressive 'The Expendables 3' cast; just yesterday it was indicated that 'Twilight' hunk Kellan Lutz was looking to join the team, and today we find that the film is bringing aboard a couple of "real life" badasses: pro boxer Victor Ortiz and MMA champ Ronda Rousey!

‘Escape Plan’ Poster: Schwarzenegger and Stallone vs. the Prison System

'Escape Plan' (previously titled 'The Tomb') feels like a movie we've been waiting 30 years to see: a team-up between action icons Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Technically, the two musclebound actors appeared together in the 'Expendables' films, but that was a glorified cameo on Arnie's part. This one is the real deal. The first poster for this sure-to-be-amazing-even-if-it's-not film has arrived and it has us pumped.

‘Expendables 3′ Making Mel Gibson the Bad Guy?

With 'The Expendables 3' already casting every washed-up actor in the history of ever, it should come as no surprise that Sylvester Stallone is apparently courting Mel Gibson. It's a development that Stallone has teased before, but now the Oscar-winning actor and director is rumored to have signed on to the project in a crucial role.

‘Expendables 3′ Director Is…Patrick Hughes

For those of you who haven't been keeping tabs with Sylvester Stallone's buzzing Twitter activity, the 'Expendables' mainstay stated that he found someone to direct the upcoming 'Expendables 3.' Though for a while he failed to give us any clues as to whom that might be...until now! It looks like the much-discussed post is going to, well, someone you probably don't know.

‘The Expendables 3′ Won’t Have Steven Seagal, Needs “New Blood”

The last we heard on 'The Expendables 3' front was that Sylvester Stallone was looking for some new blood to join the team, along with mainstays like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren. And here's an update...he still is!

‘Bullet to the Head’ Review

In 1982, Walter Hill directed '48 Hrs.,' with Nick Nolte as a loose cannon cop and Eddie Murphy as a fast-talking criminal. The oil-and-water chemistry worked, the movie was a hit, and an entire genre -- the buddy cop movie -- was born. Hill has had a long a varied career in Hollywood, directing tough, lean action movies and Westerns and producing the 'Alien' franchise, but '48 Hrs.' and the myriad imitators it birthed will always be his biggest legacy. That fact alone makes his new movie, 'Bullet to the Head,' interesting, since it's Hill imitating himself, with his first return to the genre since 1990's 'Another 48 Hrs.' The mixed results probably won't inspire a resurgence of buddy cop movies, but they're not terrible either, with enough Walter Hill flair to make some moments quite memorable, even if the movie as a whole has its problems.

The latest poster for Walter Hill's 'Bullet to the Head,' starring Sylvester Stallone, is sticking with the first poster's tagline, "Revenge Never Gets Old." Guess it still fits. However, it has added a few more faces to liven things up.

Any movie that comes out now featuring Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger or another well past middle-aged action star is going to be making some age jokes, you can count on it. A few weeks back, the po
