Although much of last night's SNL was fairly standard (albeit, very funny) stuff, there was one sketch where it felt like host Zach Galifiankis was allowed to run wild. The scene found the 'Hangover' star playing the host of a public access TV show about how to entertain guests in your home and...well...let's just say that you have to watch it.
As FX's earlier season 5 renewal of animated spy comedy 'Archer' proved, one shouldn't fix what isn't broken. Hence, just as 'Archer' recruited AMC Emmy darling and 'Breaking Bad' star Bryan Cranston to lend his voice as a space station commander in the season 3 finale, so too has FX turned to AMC's other leading dramatic male Jon Hamm to voice an undersea commander in the two-part season 4 closer! As any good 'Mad Men' follower knows, series creator Matthew Weiner is notoriously secretive when it comes to divulging details of upcoming seasons. Some scoops can't be hidden, as when two key members of the cast were spotted in Hawaii filming somewhat spoiler-y scenes for what we're told was the season 6 premiere, but what other 'Mad Men' scoops have arisen? Well for one, it seems both Don Draper and the silver fox will be back in the director's chair, as series stars Jon Hamm and John Slattery are set to helm multiple episodes of 'Mad Men' season 6!
It's been a crazy couple of days to to say the least. This weekend we were only expecting to see Lindsay Lohan on ‘Saturday Night Live’ but were pleasantly surprised when stylish stud Jon Hamm made a guest appearance. Even though Jimmy Fallon was only half kidding when he said the ‘Mad Men’ star was there as a backup host, we were secretly hoping he’d take over.
