The field of eight ACM New Artist of the Year nominees has been trimmed to three. Fans decided that Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes and Scotty McCreery were the most deserving in a fan-voted poll through GAC-TV.

The Academy of Country Music Honors is a musical evening paying tribute with performances and special presentations celebrating the non-televised portion of the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Show, held in April of this year.
