Spring Turkey Season is Here

Spring turkey season is here until May 13th. Now I don't know if you've ever been turkey hunting but the birds can be quite elusive at times. You have to have the patience, the right calls, the right gear and the stars and moon all must align to make for a successful hunt. Oh and you must have the right outfit.

Now I've never actually gotten a turkey myself but I have been on the hunt. I know I'm wearing the right outfit, I bought it special for the occasion. I was told they liked bright colors and white chicken legs. I obviously used the right calls because they gathered round like they had been invited to a party. I just couldn't get the right angle for the shot.

Maybe I just don't have the "turkey touch" but some people do. Including my honey. This is his turkey from last season but he's currently on the hunt for this years big thunder chicken.
