Shenandoah are back with their first new music in two decades, and longtime fans will love their powerful new ballad, "That's Where I Grew Up."

Singer Marty Raybon's signature voice is front and center on the track, which is premised mostly around piano and strings. The heartfelt lyrics share a series of three vignettes that served as turning points in the narrator's life, and Raybon's performance is dramatic enough to be emotive, but restrained enough that is still serves the song, rather than showing off.

"See I gained a little on father time / That summer my grandaddy died / The first time I saw mama cry / Man that sure was tough / Felt like I'd put on a few years / Watching daddy wipe her tears / In my little coat and tie / Standing in the cemetery mud / That's where I grew up," he sings in the chorus.

The arrangement finds the band members giving subtle performances, slowly building the track to a crescendo in the bridge and then stripping it back down to basics at the end for a track that is perfectly-built to showcase the lyrics and vocal performance.

Raybon returned to the Grammy-winning group to release Reloaded, which consists mainly of new live versions of their classic hits, including "The Church on Cumberland Road," "Sunday in the South," "Two Dozen Roses" and "If Bubba Can Dance, I Can Too."

"That's Where I Grew Up" is one of three new tracks produced by Jay DeMarcus from Rascal Flatts, which also include "Noise," and "Little Bit of Livin." Shenandoah have spent much of the year on the road for their 30th anniversary tour, which kicked off Feb. 16 and run through Nov. 24.

Did You Know? Shenandoah's collaboration with Alison Krauss on "Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart" won a Grammy for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1996.

Shenandoah's "That Where I Grew Up" Lyrics:

There's still marks on that pantry door / In that little house / Where mama used to measure us / And I'm proud to say that's my home / Where I was raised / But that ain't where I grew up

Chorus:

See I gained a little on father time / That summer my grandaddy died / The first time I saw mama cry / Man that sure was tough / Felt like I'd put on a few years / Watching daddy wipe her tears / In my little coat and tie / Standing in that cemetery mud / That's where I grew up

My senior year, a case of beer / Right on the river bank / Getting a head start on 21 / That's the place that made me feel just like a man / But that ain't where I grew up

Chorus:

See I gained a little on father time / That night I crossed that center line / I bet I rolled a dozen times / Next thing I knew, I was / Waking up upside down / Praying "God, just get me out" / And I hit my knees / Beside what was left of my truck / And that's where I grew up

You learn as you go, oh / You see that's how you grow

Chorus:

I gained a little on father time / When me and her had our first big fight / I said some things, I made her cry / She packed all her stuff / The boy in my said let her go / But the man in me said pull her close / It was time to find out which one I was / Standing in the doorway, holding on to love / That's where I grew up / That's where I grew up
