Sam Hunt won't be a bachelor for much longer. The recently engaged country singer shared that he and fiancee Hannah Fowler will get married very soon.

Previously Hunt hadn't shared much about his wedding timeline but during the annual Universal Music Group luncheon at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday (Feb. 23) he revealed that he and Fowler were busy planning the wedding.

"I'm getting married in a couple months, so between planning a wedding and keeping my fiancee smiling, I'm gonna try to kick up some new music for y'all," Hunt said before going into his new single "Body Like a Backroad." This song was penned after he got engaged last fall. News of the engagement broke just after New Year's.

Last month Hunt shared how he proposed to Fowler in Israel. He had the ring in his pocket but the couple got into a spat. "I think because I felt like this disagreement spoiled my big plan to ask her to marry me, it irritated me a little more, which contributed to making the little fight worse and it escalated to the point where it actually worked out," he told radio show Ty, Kelly and Chuck. "We got real for a minute, after this little riff that we had. In that moment, it just felt perfect. Everything — after I asked her to marry me — just fizzled away and we celebrated and got excited together."

A spring wedding would put him in line to begin his 15 In a 30 Tour as a married man. The tour begins on June 1.
