Scotty McCreery isn’t the only country superstar celebrating the Season 11 finale of ‘American Idol.’ Reba McEntire is set to perform on tonight’s episode (May 23) with country hopeful Skylar Laine, who placed No. 4 this season after being eliminated a few weeks ago.

And it couldn’t be a better fit, given that Laine was compared to the fiery redheaded singer all season long. McEntire will join a star-studded lineup of special superstar performers that includes judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, as well as pop singer Rihanna, ‘American Idol’ alum Jordin Sparks and Nelly Furtado. The girls will pay homage to the late Donna Summer with a special group performance with ’70s icons Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston and Gladys Knight. As for the guys? They will pay their respect to the late Robin Gibb, a founding member of the legendary Bee Gees.

Additionally, ‘Idol’ Finalists Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez will each have the opportunity to perform one-on-one with their musical heroes. The mellow Phillips will pair up with legendary rocker John Fogerty, while Sanchez is set to take the stage with Kristin Chenoweth to perform the Barbra Streisand classic, ‘Enough is Enough,’ as well as an encore with Jennifer Holliday to perform ‘And I Am Telling You.’

The jam-packed two-hour finale will end in one hopeful being crowned the official ‘American Idol.’ Who will walk away with the title?

If Luke Bryan has his way, his fellow Leesburg, Ga. native Phillips will sweep the competition. “When I found out there was a Leesburg boy doing well on ‘American Idol,’ I’ve been watching every episode. It’s truly amazing watching you’re climb,” says Bryan in a video posted to his official Twitter account. “I’m pulling for you buddy!”

Tune in to FOX tonight to catch all the exciting performances.
