Lady Antebellum didn't just open the 2013 American Country Awards with a performance of 'Compass.' They also pocketed the award for Group of the Year and Single of the Year by a Duo or Group!

"First and foremost, we have to thank the fans," singer Hillary Scott said upon reaching the podium to accept the award. "We love you. We would not be here without you. We have to thank our spouses and our families, and Eisele."

It was her first time thanking her little girl, born in July, at a major awards show.

Dave Haywood took a second to promote the band's January tour, as well. That was the perfect timing for some not-so-shameless self-promotion -- and that's what awards shows are for.

The trio also won Single of the Year for a Duo or Group for their upbeat jam 'Downtown,' which was an award that was handed out off camera. Congrats to Lady A on their mega wins at the 2013 ACAs.
