Kacey Musgraves’ CD ‘Same Trailer Different Park’ Debuts at #1 on the Billboard Country Chart

Kacey Musgraves' major label debut record 'Same Trailer Different Park' has shot up to the top spot on the Billboard Country Chart. The singer/songwriter from East Texas received critical acclaim for the CD, and now country music fans have made the statement that they love her, too.

At 24-year-old, Kacey co-wrote the entire album, and must be thrilled with the #1 spot on the country chart, but she's also holding the #2 position on Billboard Top 200. 'Same Trailer, Different Park' was released March 19th, and in its first week sold 43,496 units and has received terrific reviews from several national critics such as Rolling Stone, USA Today, NPR and Taste of Country.

After years of independent success on the Texas music scene, Musgraves is now living the life of a successful national act. With her three ACM Award nominations (including Female Vocalist of the Year), and an opening slot on the biggest country tour of the year, Kenny Chesney's  No Shoes Nation Tour, her star continues to rise.

Set your DVR for April 7th, when Kacey will be featured on CBS Sunday Morning. The TV show followed Musgraves through Nashville and Texas to film the piece.
