Jim Bush is a natural entertainer. Not only is he a fine singer/songwriter, but the frontman for the Brownwood-based Bush Holloway Band can really crack jokes with the best of them. As if his first visit to the KEAN studios a few months back wasn't enough, Bush came back to chat some on the afternoon show.

In part one of my conversation with "the front end" of the Bush Holloway Band, Jim explains that business has picked up for the BHB, vaguely stating, "We've picked up some good stuff, and we have some stuff that we're really excited about, and we just want to keep making music." Bush also mentioned that they are working on a new music video for the latest single, 'Shame On You, Shame On Me'. He tells us about the new song, "It's one of those, you know, you got involved with her, and you knew. You knew. But you wanted to anyway...so when she finally bails on you, you can blame her, but you got some of the blame too.". Take a listen to part one, complete with jokes:

For the second part of my conversation with Jim Bush, He broke out his guitar and played a new song for us, 'Wrapped Up Tight With My Baby' from the new album the Bush Holloway Band is working on. He also gave a very entertaining explanation about how the song came about. Check it out:

The final part of my visit with Bush including details about where he is moving when he grows up: San Marcos. "We're actually active on Facebook...and we need as many "likes" as we can, because nobody cares about the music as much as how many "likes" we have." I'm pretty sure he was joking, but it would still be a good think if you checked out their page. Here's the final part of my conversation with Jim Bush:

Jim promised he was coming to KEAN to "make a difference", and he delivered. It's always fun to have Bush drop by. You can get the latest on BHB from their official website as well as the Bush Holloway Band Facebook page.
