JB and the Moonshine Band are preparing for a visit to the Lucky Mule on November 15th as part of the Taste of Country Christmas Tour with Casey James. As we get ready for their visit to Abilene, lead singer JB Patterson was kind enough to take some time to call in to the KEAN-105 Afternoon Show.

For the second straight week, the Tyler, Texas-based band holds the #1 position of the Texas Regional Radio Report with 'No Better Than This', and are getting ready to release a new song just ahead of the holiday season. JB talked about the success of the music so far, discussed what's in store in the coming months, how he would describe his band's live show (one word:  ridiculous), and a lot more.

Take a listen to the whole conversation I had with JB:

As you can tell, JB Patterson is one of the most laid back guys you'll ever meet. The easy-going singer/songwriter doesn't seem to let anything get to him (even when I blog raw video footage of a recent JB and the Moonshine Band sound check). And with back-to-back #1 Texas music singles, who could blame him. 2012 has been extremely successful for JBMB, and the coming year promises more of the same for the band.

You can get more details on the Taste of Country Christmas Concert at the Lucky Mule here, and go see the 'ridiculous' show for yourself.

Here's the video for JB and the Moonshine Band's first charting single on Texas Radio (and my personal favorite), 'Perfect Girl':
