Additional Information

The Abilene Animal Shelter, Rescue the Animals SPCA, the North Shore Animal League and a few Humane societies and animal shelters from around the big country are teaming up for a "Big Country Spring Adoption". Every dog, cat kitten and puppy within 19 counties will be here in Abilene for this major adoption event April 11th - 13th. I will be living in the my custom made dog house at the corner of Catclaw and Southwest Drive.

Last year over 350 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies were rescued, over 300 pets were vaccinated and more than 500 were micro-chipped. There will be pets from several area animal shelters as well as Humane Societies and Rescue the Animals. While micro-chipping and adoptions will take place there will be no vaccinations this year.
