Get ready Abilene the B-1, C-130 and Thunderbirds will all be performing during this year's Dyess Big Country AirFest and Open House. Mark your calendars for May 2- 3.

Each year Dyess AFB opens it's gates to the civilians of the Big Country as a way of saying thank you. They allow us to see the B-1 and C-130 up close and personal. They also have many other planes you are able to admire up close too. Plus, there will be some amazing fly overs, demonstrations and even some skydiving. This year the Thunderbirds will be here to show off their incredible air acrobatics.

  • Air show includes demonstrations from the B-1, C-130, Thunderbirds, AV-8B Harrier and Army Golden Knights & Wings of Blue Skydiving Teams.
  • Static displays include F22, MQ-1 Predator, T38, F15E Strike Eagle, B52, CV22 Osprey, surface-to-air threat display and many more.
