Remembering the old school
The school was torn down in the 1980's. But we haven't forgotten the good ole days there. From 1950 - 1980 the school was alive with the sound of children learning the 3 Rs....Reading, 'Riting, and 'Rithmatic. Alumni from the old Ben Milam Elementary School (previously North Park Elementary) will gather for a reunion at the Friendship House which now stands on the old school site, located on Lowden Street between Hickory and Cedar in north Abilene. The reunion will be Sunday, October 13, 2013, 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Bring your photos, annuals and any memorabilia you would like to share. Reconnect with friends from childhood and relive those "good ole days" for a couple of hours.
