Yesterday I posted the story of Delta Airlines charging our soldiers an extra baggage fee for their 4th bag.  Seems the viral video of the soldiers telling their soldiers was heard loud and clear by Delta officials.  The Defense Department says that the airlines are within their rights to charge for baggage, they are a

private company, but usually they wave the fees for soldiers returning from active duty.  Delta had been allowing 3 free bags to soldiers flying coach but will now allow for 4th bags to be free as well.  Guess the "squeaky wheel" got results in this case.  I'm sure Delta customer services have gotten an ear full from the public the last few days and had to do something to save face.
